  • StoryTime Continued : These are 54 minute activities that are aimed at helping students develop their vocabulary and enjoy reading in ESL. They are for multi-level classes (by cycle). Books covered: I Need a Hug (cycle one), Ninja (cycle one), This is a Moose (cycle two), What if YOU, Animal Teeth (cycle two), Only YOU Can Save Christmas! A Help-the-Elf Adventure (cycle three).
  • Short Films Activities: How to exploit short movies through meaningful activities.
  • Dragons Love Tacos LES (cycle 2) : After reading and exploring the book Dragons Love Tacos, students will have to create their own version of the story.
  • Do you want to be a Pirate? ES (grade 4) In this ES, students will come to create a Pirate persona for themselves and write a letter to the captain of to ask to become part of the ship’s crew.
  • A Hole in the Bottom of the Sea ES (cycle 1) : This is an evaluation situation presenting the book, «A Hole in the Bottom of the sea», a modified version of text and singalong animation from Barefoot Books.  They will learn about the concept of food chains.  They will do a personalized version of text and complete a food chain of their own by choosing from one of three different habitats: the sea, the forest and the savannah.
  • Guess Who Around the Province LES (Cycle 3) : This interactive LES was created to give sense to a C1 and a C3 task. It allows 2 classes from different regions of the province to meet and work together, even if they are far apart!
    It’s a great opportunity to evaluate C1 & C3 in an authentic, meaningful situation. It integrates ICTs and allows students to be creative.
  • Food Stations (Cycle 2) : Interactive learning stations about food. They target C1, C2 (demonstrate understanding) and C3. They can be a complement to any LES about food.
  • Doors In The Air LES (Grade 4): This learning and evaluation situation goes with the TD Book Doors in the Air.  By carrying out different tasks, students will explore the content of the book and answer the driving question: Where does your door lead you to?
  • Santa is Hiring… Are you nice enough to be hired? LES (Intensive) : This Hyperdoc LES-like explores the theme of Christmas. Students will complete 7 different tasks: from creating an elf, describing it, taking a survey to discover how naughty and nice they are, taking part to an interview with Santa, exploring old toys, reinventing an unpopular toy and presenting it at a Christmas fair!
