Week of 14th extra ressources available now

Hello teachers,

We hope that you are well and healthy, and are finding ways to adapt to this challenging new situation.

Some of you may have communicated with your students and are offering them support during this time, some might not, and of course, the decision to do so is entirely in your hands.

As you probably already know, the MEES created a website called ‘École ouverte’ that offers students resources for independent learning. In addition, at the CSDM, the disciplinary CPs have provided suggestions to complement these MEES resources. These suggestions for teachers are entitled ‘Pistes de bonification des trousses du MEES’ and can be found on the Services pédagogiques website. If you decide to offer activities to complement those posted by the MEES, or if you want to suggest activities for your students in your own way, you can also consult the ESL blog for additional resources.

As well, most publishers offer free materials on their websites, and this would be another way to encourage students to practice. The MEES has also provided a list of resources, including the publishers’ websites, available through École ouverte. Just click on the grade level you need and then on Anglais, langue seconde to find an alphabetical list of resources.

Please feel free to contact us, should you have questions. Stay safe and take care!
