As you know, the Ministry has put a Plan de rattrapage in place to enable students affected by the strike to receive support to help them succeed in their studies. This includes meeting the needs of students with special needs (by offering different types of support, such as tutoring) as well as making adjustments to the school calendar and Ministry Examinations. For the Secondary 5 ESL Ministry examinations:
- The January 2024 MEQ examination session has been postponed. See the dates on the Horaire des épreuves ministérielles du primaire et du secondaire.
- The May-June 2024 MEQ examinations will also be postponed. For the moment, the new dates have not been announced. They will be updated on the Horaire des épreuves ministérielles du primaire et du secondaire.
- There is a new weighting for the Secondary 5 uniform examinations: They will count for 20% (instead of 50%).
